How about when we tell you that you would be presenting alongside the one and only Anita Bundy! |
Anita is a professor and researcher, as well as Department Head in Occupational Therapy at the Colorado State University. She focuses on assessing and promoting children's play. She has a particular interest in "risky play" as a way of helping children learn who they are and what they are capable of. Anita is excited to network with everyone at Reimagine 2023 and encourages you to ask questions.

When she is not working, Anita loves to hike, cook, play the flute, and read while enjoying a nice glass of wine or whiskey. Don't miss the opportunity to meet Anita at Reimagine 2023 this November! To learn more about all Plenary Speakers, click on the button below: |

Global Developmental Awareness Day |
Earlier this month, on 1 May 2023, we celebrated the Global Developmental Awareness Day (GDAD).This day is dedicated to raising awareness about developmental disabilities and promoting inclusion of individuals with disabilities in all aspects of life. The theme for this year's GDAD is "Building a more inclusive world for people with developmental disabilities." This theme emphasizes the importance of creating a world that is accessible and welcoming for people with disabilities, where they can participate fully and equally in all aspects of society. |
On this day, it is essential to spread awareness about the challenges that people with developmental disabilities face and the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive environment for them. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the unique contributions and talents that people with disabilities bring to our communities. |
Reimagine 2023 would like to raise awareness so we can work together to build a more inclusive world, where everyone, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. |
